REPLACEMENT SUPPORT POLICY
PURPOSE OF REPLACEMENT SUPPORT
VOLO provides replacement support as a service measure to assist its business partners in situations where a product supplied may not perform as intended due to a confirmed manufacturing-related issue. This support is structured to ensure continuity of trade operations while maintaining quality standards.
ELIGIBILITY FOR REPLACEMENT SUPPORT
Replacement support is considered in cases where a product is identified to have a manufacturing defect that affects its intended function under normal and recommended usage conditions. Eligibility is determined through a technical evaluation process conducted by VOLO’s quality team.
REQUEST INITIATION TIMEFRAME
Requests for replacement support should be raised within 7 days from the date of delivery. Timely reporting allows accurate assessment of product condition and facilitates effective resolution.
INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS
To enable proper evaluation, buyers are requested to provide clear photographs and/or videos demonstrating the reported concern. This may include images of the product, packaging, labels, and batch details where applicable. Additional information may be requested to complete the assessment.
TECHNICAL REVIEW AND ASSESSMENT
All replacement support requests are reviewed by VOLO’s technical and quality teams. The assessment focuses on identifying whether the reported issue originates from manufacturing parameters or external handling, installation, or usage factors.
SCOPE OF REPLACEMENT SUPPORT
Replacement support is intended to address issues arising solely from manufacturing-related defects. Factors such as surface marks, aesthetic variation, transit handling impact, installation practices, environmental exposure, storage conditions, application mismatch, or operational wear are typically influenced by variables beyond manufacturing control and may not fall within replacement support scope.
CONDITION OF PRODUCT FOR ASSESSMENT
Products should be maintained in a condition that allows technical verification. Items that have been extensively used, altered, modified, or integrated into assemblies may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, subject to feasibility of inspection and verification.
APPROVAL AND RESOLUTION PROCESS
Upon completion of the technical review, VOLO determines the appropriate course of action. Where replacement support is approved, the replacement unit or component is arranged through a commercially reasonable process.
LOGISTICS AND DISPATCH
The mode of replacement dispatch, return coordination (if applicable), and timelines are determined by VOLO to ensure operational efficiency and quality compliance.
LIMITATION OF SUPPORT
Replacement support is limited to the product supplied and does not extend to installation costs, labor, project delays, indirect losses, or consequential expenses associated with product usage.
FINAL DECISION
The determination made by VOLO regarding replacement support eligibility and resolution shall be considered final and binding in line with internal quality guidelines and commercial practices.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Replacement Support Policy is governed by applicable laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to replacement support shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Delhi, India.
